The Thursday Night Youth & Family Steel Shooting Challenge
oƯers families an opportunity to participate together in competitive
shooting sports in a friendly, respectful, and safety-focused
environment.
Ages 12–17 with Parents
Parents are encouraged to participate with their children in a supportive role.
Goals
Reinforce safe firearm-handling habits.
Refine proper techniques to improve speed and accuracy.
Encourage responsibility, respect, and sportsmanship.

22lr pistols only (No revolvers, no rifles)
Gun case/bag
Minimum of 3, 10-round magazines
Up to 100 rounds per match
Other Gear
Due to safety considerations in a competitive shooting
environment, the following equipment is also highly
recommended:
Sturdy belt capable of supporting holster and
magazine pouches
Belt-mounted magazine pouches
Red dot sights are optional but helpful and fun.
General Requirements
Participants must:
Adhere to all primary firearm safety rules at all times.
Provide your own firearm, ammunition, and equipment.
Adhere to all event-specific rules and Range Safety OƯicer
commands.
Be respectful of others at all times.
This is a family friendly event. Participants should refrain from using
profanity, crude, demeaning or otherwise inappropriate language or
behavior.
Event Format
This competition follows the Steel Challenge
format under USPSA / SCSA guidelines.
Only one shooter at a time.
Each event consists of multiple shooting stages or
challenges.
These events do not provide basic firearm instruction.
All participants must already have a practical
understanding of firearm operation and safety.

Sign-In & Safety Briefing
Sign in at the clubhouse first and pay the $5/person
club entry fee. Club memberships available.
Proceed to the multi-gun parking area for the
mandatory safety briefing and pay the $5/shooter
event fee.
