Wednesday Night Steel

Wednesday Night Steel (WNS) is USPSA style shooting matches using primarily steel targets
with occasional paper/cardboard targets. These matches are limited to pistols, pistol caliber
carbines (PCC), and 22 LR rifles. No magnum, steel penetrator, or tracer rounds are allowed.
Courses of fire use props to simulate walls, openings, and shooting areas to test shooter’s
accuracy, speed, and agility. Like USPSA, these matches are scored using “time plus penalties”
protocols.

WNS matches take place in the Cowboy Action Shooting Area of the Unified Sportsmens Range
(USC) located west of Rexburg, Idaho. During matches this area is limited to
competitors/observers only.

WNS takes place each Wednesday evening from April 12 thru November 29, 2023. Setup
begins at 4 PM, the match starts at 5 PM, and typically ends at 7 PM. WNS targets are typically
left in place until they are reconfigured for the next match.
